How Sai Lok Arranges Daily Life
The philosophy at Sai Lok is that no two residents have exactly the same daily needs, so no single arrangement should fit everyone. The three options below were designed after years of listening to residents and families — each one responding to a genuine and common pattern of what older adults in Hong Kong look for.
All arrangements share the same foundation: a small, consistent team; a welcoming, domestic atmosphere; and the expectation that residents are treated with courtesy and consideration, not managed. What differs is the scope of involvement. A resident is welcome to start modestly and expand over time, or to begin with the complete arrangement from day one.

Preferences are noted from the first day and followed without reminders.
Adjustable at Any Time
Any arrangement can be changed with one month's notice — no penalties.

Fixed monthly fees — everything covered is listed clearly before signing.
Arrangement One
Daily Living Support
Discreet help with everyday tasks such as tidying, laundry, errands and reminders, offered by a familiar host so each day stays easy and unhurried, with as much or as little support as a resident prefers.

Regular Quality Review
Each arrangement is reviewed with the resident quarterly — small adjustments made to ensure everything remains a good fit.
Family Support Line
Families can reach the team directly by phone or WhatsApp during office hours — responses the same day, usually within the hour.
Registered Operation
Sai Lok operates within Social Welfare Department guidelines for residential care services in Hong Kong.
Vetted, Trained Team
All staff are background-checked and complete in-house training in elder care, communication and first aid before joining the team.
Transparent Monthly Billing
A single invoice each month — no itemised charges that are difficult to understand or vary unexpectedly.
